Figma Case Study
Figma UI UX Essentials Course
GOAL: Expand my Figma knowledge and learn the ins and outs of the system - wireframing, prototyping, shortcuts, etc.
This course is a comprehensive walkthrough of how to use Figma, from frames and components to animations and prototyping. The brief is to create a mobile and desktop website for a randomized product.
Throughout my career, I have created wireframes on paper, in Sketch, in Miro, etc, but this course was my chance to learn the specific functionalities of wireframing in Figma. Wireframes were made for both mobile and desktop versions of this fictional website.
Learning prototyping and animating in Figma has been my biggest knowledge gain of the course. I feel confident in my ability to build prototypes at varying levels of complexity, and now know how to troubleshoot common challenges.
In future course lessons I will be designing a higher-fidelity version of this dummy site, and I will create a more in-depth prototype with more interactions.
I have completed the Figma Course!
Major learnings: prototyping, micro animations, libraries and organization
